The Musée d'Orsay boasts the world's largest collection of Impressionist works. It is located on the Left Bank of Paris, less than 10 minutes' walk from the Hôtel Duminy Vendôme.
The Musée d'Orsay is open from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, and from 9:30 a.m. to 9:45 p.m. on Thursdays. Closed on Mondays, May 1 and December 25.
Typical of classical French urbanism, it's one of the most famous and luxurious squares in Paris, located just 3 minutes' walk from our hotel. The epicenter of Parisian elegance, it's home to the finest jewels: haute-joaillerie, goldsmiths, fashion, perfumeries, luxury hotels and galleries. The column was created by Napoleon I from the cast bronze of cannons confiscated from the Austrians, as a tribute to his victorious soldiers at the battle of Austerlitz (1805).
Located on the Ile de la Cité, Notre-Dame de Paris cathedral can be reached by metro from the Hotel Duminy Vendôme (approx. 20 minutes). This fascinating Gothic edifice is the capital's most visited monument, ahead of the Eiffel Tower. Famous for its gargoyles, bells and rose windows, we invite you to discover the secrets of the capital's iconic cathedral.
The Musée du Louvre is open daily from 9 am to 6 pm except Tuesdays. Late-night opening until 9:45pm on Wednesdays and Fridays. Closed on January 1, May 1 and December 25.
Paris's largest museum, home to Leonardo da Vinci's famous Mona Lisa, is just a 5-minute walk from the Hôtel Duminy Vendôme. It brings together works of Western art from the Middle Ages to 1848, as well as works from ancient Eastern civilizations, Egyptian, Greek, Etruscan, Roman, graphic arts and Islamic art.
